Association for the Propagation of the Faith (APF)
The APF is the church’s official association for raising money to help missions in all countries of the world. In England it works with the Mill Hill Fathers and collects money through its red collection boxes. In St Joseph’s parish a team of promoters goes twice a year to the homes of those with boxes to empty them and count the contents, which are then taken to the parish’s APF secretary to bank.
In 2010 over £1,700 was raised in the parish in this way, our contribution to the over two million raised nationally.
