Catenians

Strengthening family life through fellowship and faith.

Malvern Catenians are part of the Catenian Association, which is an international brotherhood of practising Catholic laymen who meet socially, at least once a month, in local branches known as Circles. Members aim to provide strong mutual support to each other and to their families, based on the shared values of their Catholic belief and practice.

The Association's name derives from catena, the Latin word for a chain, with the Circles being the links in the chain. The Association is not a fund raising agent for the Catholic Church, nor is it a Catholic action group. It is, however, a group of active Catholics who enjoy each other's company and, through the Circle's varied social calendar, that of their families too. On an individual basis, Catenians take an active part in the life of their parishes and many play a leading role in their dioceses and Catholic lay organisations, locally and nationally.

If you would be interested to learn more about the Malvern Circle of the Catenian Association, Vince Conway on 01886 830 056 or vincentconway1950@yahoo.co.uk will be delighted to help you. You may also like to visit http://www.thecatenians.com
