Baptism Preparation

Baptism is the first and most important sacrament we receive.  In order that parents are prepared for their children's baptism, preparation will happen in small groups after Mass on Sunday mornings, 3 times a year.  If you are planning a baptism, even if the child is not yet born, please consider booking to attend the next set of sessions which will be as follows:

  • Feb 23rd and 15th March
  • 26 April and 17 May
  • 28 June and 12 July

Both sets of sessions need to be attended

First Communion

This parish based programme for children of eight years old (Year 3) and over is run every year during a period of about nine months.

Confirmation

The programme runs most years and usually consists of 10 sessions, during which the candidates study the theology of the sacrament, and look at the responsibilities they are undertaking, including the responsibility of being part of their parish community.

Marriage

Preparation is given for those thinking of getting married either through an Engaged Encounter weekend or a marriage course given in the parish. It is important that you contact us as early as possible in order that arrangements can be made.

In each case, for further information speak to the Parish Office on 01684 574 250 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
