For Working Conditions. Let us pray that, through work, each person may find fulfilment, families may be sustained in dignity, and that society may be humanised.

Please Pray

  • For the Sick and Housebound of St Joseph’s Parish: Clare Gray, Anne Wiseman, Anne-Marie Elder and Elizabeth Docker. We include all those in hospitals, nursing homes & their own homes. Our Lady, health of the sick, pray for them. Amen.

  • For Those on the Anniversary of their Deaths: Norma Parson, Tony Leer, Jean Leer and Achamma Koshy.

ONE WORLD GROUP PARISH MEETING - CHEESE & WINE EVENING - TUESDAY 13th MAY

Interested in learning about how St Joseph’s parish is actively supporting a project to help some of the poorest people in southern India? Reaching the Unreached helps children and their families in rural villages in Tamil Nadu and our parish supports their work through the One World Group.

Fr Antony, who is the director of RTU, will be visiting us next week, and will concelebrate Mass at 6pm. Following the Mass, we will gather in the McEnnis Room to enjoy some cheese and wine while we learn about the RTU’s work.

TRAINING OF NEW EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF COMMUNION

Sunday, 18th May at 4pm at St Joseph’s Malvern

THE MONTH OF MAY, THE MONTH OF MARY

The month of May is dedicated to Our Blessed Mary. During this month Christians, both in church and in the privacy of the home, offer up to Mary from their hearts an especially fervent and loving homage of prayer and veneration. Families are welcome to host the statue of the Blessed Mary from Sunday after Mass to Saturday before the 6pm Mass to give a chance to say the Rosary as a family for one week and as well as to invite friends to join you in the week. Please fill a form in the Narthex. At the start of each Mass, we shall recite the ‘Regina Caeli’ .

60TH YEAR OF ORDINATION

Roger Watson will be celebrating his 60th year of ordination as a Church of England Minister on 15th June at St Leonard’s Church of the Beauchamp Community. It will start with an Ecumenical Service Evensong at 3pm followed by tea. A sign-up sheet is available in the Narthex for catering purposes.

CAFOD

Thank you to St Joseph’s for the generous donation of £1,235.65 received on 30 April 2025 for Family Fast Day.

WORCESTERSHIRE CIRCLE NEWMAN ASSOCIATION

The talk scheduled for 21st May on the Council of Nicaea has had to be postponed as the speaker is now not able to make it.

However, we do have a summer outing planned for Saturday June 28th to Harvington Hall. If you are interested please get in touch with John Duddington at duddingtonjohn@gmail.com

LYTTELTON WELL

Well Counselling Service Fundraising Quiz Night - Saturday May 10th - The doors open at 7pm and the quiz gets going at about 7.30, The cost is £3.00 per head plus a contribution for tea, coffee, squash, biscuits etc.

The monthly CTiM coffee morning is on 13th May 10am to 12.00 in the cafe. Do come and meet old friends and new.

The Lyttelton Well Cafe and bookshop is now open from 10am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
