  • For the respect of human life. Let us pray for the respect and protection of human life in all its stages, recognizing it as a gift from God.

  • For the Sick and Housebound of St Joseph’s Parish: Clare Gray, Anne Wiseman, Anne-Marie Elder, Roslyn La Ferla and John Eckersley. We include all those in hospitals, nursing homes & their own homes. Our Lady, health of the sick, pray for them. Amen.

  • For those on the anniversary of their deaths: Sara Daniel and Betty Low.

Please pray for Bridget Bache who has recently died.

SEA SUNDAY - Please pray for all at Sea and if you can give financial support to the work of Stella Maris (formerly, the Apostleship of the Sea), the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church. This collection is vital for the future of Stella Maris and its support of seafarers.

Last Monday, Fr Jithin Titto was ordained priest at an inspiring Liturgy at the

Cathedral in Birmingham. A big thank you to a number of people from the parish who attended his ordination. Fr Jithin spent a good and memorable six months at St

Joseph’s during the lockdown at the beginning of his formation period. Due to his technical knowledge he set us up on the first streamed Masses. This Sunday, 12th July at the 11am Mass, Fr Jithin is going to celebrate his first Malvern Mass in thanksgiving for the support the people of the parish have given him on his journey to the priesthood.

Please be informed that I will be out to Malawi from 16th July to return on 28th August. The first two weeks are considered as work since I will be with a team of young people from Kenelm Trust who are on Mission Malawi Trip including Bishop Tim Menezes. When these leave on 30th July, I will remain behind for my holiday to return to Malvern on 28th August. I have engaged Fr Mayamiko Kachipapa, a Jesuit in Oxford to be resident in the presbytery to cover the ordinary ministry in the parish up to 4th August. From the 4th August Dom Patrick Lobo of Belmont will take residence till 21st August for certain. As for the last week of my time out (21st to 28th August) You will get details in next week’s newsletter. Fr Naz
