About This Week's Mass
PALM SUNDAY OF THE PASSION OF THE LORD– YEAR C
12TH -13TH APRIL 2025 – Parish Mass Book Page number 184
The Church celebrates the sixth Sunday of Lent as both Palm Sunday and Passion Sunday. What we commemorate and relive during this week is not just Jesus’ dying and rising, but our own dying and rising in Jesus, which will result in our healing, reconciliation, and redemption. Today’s liturgy combines contrasting moments, one of glory, the other of suffering: the royal welcome of Jesus in Jerusalem, and the drama of the trial, culminating in the crucifixion, death, and burial of the Christ.
Pope’s Prayer Intention for April
For the use of new technologies. Let us pray that the use of new technologies will not replace human relationships, will respect the dignity of the person, and will help us face the crises of our times.

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 11TH – 17TH MAY 2025
Could I ask those people who have so generously delivered envelopes in the past for Christian Aid, to sign up once again on the list in the narthex. I am also looking for NEW volunteers. This is just delivering 20-30 envelopes in your road. Once again you will not be asked to return to collect the envelopes. Your address will be printed on the envelope and people will be asked to put it through your door. Then, at the end of the week, you bring them back to me. (Thank you Win Crawford).
