ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR CHRISTMAS DAY
Could you offer an extra place or two at your table for Christmas Day? We're encouraging parishioners to open their homes and share the joy of Christmas lunch with a fellow parishioner this year. This will replace the previously successful Christmas lunches in the McEnnis Room. We would love you to be a part of this beautiful act of hospitality. If you are interested in being involved, please add your name to the sign-up sheet which will be in the Narthex and someone will contact you.
PARISH MAGAZINE
The Advent edition is out and for sale in the Narthex - 50pence a copy. A great read as always.
THE ENVIRONMENT AND CHRISTMAS - ONE WORLD GROUP
It’s a sad fact that Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are the 3 most polluting days of the year with three billion tonnes of extra rubbish generated worldwide. That’s the equivalent of over 3 weeks’ worth of carbon dioxide emissions. What can we do to reduce this? Buy wrapping paper that can be recycled and fold it up and use it again next year. Use less to wrap that present. Try to choose one ‘greener’ option in your shopping and you will be helping to care for God’s creation.
MALVERN FOOD BANK
Please remember the need of the wonderful Malvern Foodbank. A list is on display at the front entrance of the church of what is needed. Especially tins of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. Squash, teabags, jam, pasta and rice and toiletries. Your donations are always appreciated. The donation box is in the usual place at the front of the church.
THURSDAY 18th DECEMBER
A host of knitted Angels will be descending on Malvern sharing God’s love with the town, residents and visitors this Christmas. Look out for them around the town.
GREAT MALVERN PRIORY
During Priory Opening Hours there will be a Christmas Tree Festival until 6th January. Come in and see all the beautiful trees.
