  • For disarmament and peace. Let us pray that nations move toward effective

    disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of

    violence.

  • For the Sick and Housebound of St Joseph’s Parish: Clare Gray, Anne Wiseman, Anne-Marie Elder, Roslyn La Ferla and John Eckersley. We include all those in hospitals, nursing homes & their own homes. Our Lady, health of the sick, pray for them. Amen.

PARISH LENTEN SOUP CAFÉ

16th March and the 23rd March at noon after Mass at 11.30am on these Mondays. Do come along and meet others for these very sociable lunches with a choice of soups and bread followed by tea and coffee. There is no set charge for the lunch, but donations are welcome and will go towards supporting the Church and the One World Group Projects.

CLUSTER LENTEN REFLECTIONS

In our Lenten Meditations this year we shall be reflecting on the Beatitudes in five meetings at different churches in our Cluster.

Next Clusters are –

  • 17th March at Blackmore Park (Chris Louise) - ‘Blessed are the pure of heart and the peacemakers’

  • Tuesday 24th March at St Joseph’s Malvern (Christian Dowle) - ‘Blessed are the merciful’

Each meeting will start with gathering and refreshments at 6.30pm before proceeding to an introductory talk (7.15pm), followed by reflection and prayer. The meeting will finish at 8pm.

CLUSTER’S LENT RECONCILIATION SERVICES

  • St Wulstan’s Sunday 15th March at 3pm.

  • St Joseph’s on Friday 27th March at 7pm.

YOUTH GROUP DATES

Meet Fridays 6.00pm to 7.30pm for years 6 and upward.

FIRST CONSIGNMENT OF PARISH MASS BOOKS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED IN MALAWI

Bishop Yohane Nyirenda of Mzuzu Diocese in Malawi confirmed with thanks, receiving the 290litre drum containing 180 old Parish Mass Books donated from St

Joseph’s parish. A big thank you to all who contributed to the shipping of these books. We still have two to three drums for all the three cycle books to be shipped to Malawi.

A PARISH MISSION FOR THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR PARISH

As part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary, the Redemptorists will preach a Mission in our parish from Saturday, 27th June till Friday, 3rd July 2026. Keep this week in focus.

LIFEPATH MALVERN 22ND - 26TH JUNE 2026

A reminder that more Volunteers are needed for Lifepath. Already 603 children are booked in. 63 Volunteers are signed up but 90/100 are needed. If you feel able to help, see various roles on the Application Form, (in the narthex here at St. Joseph’s) which can be completed and returned to Lifepath Admin, ℅ Priory Parish Office. Church House, Church Street, Malvern. Lifepath represents the unity of Christians from various denominations and areas working together, a testament of their faith.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS AT HOLY TRINITY

The art of Seiger Koder will be on display at Holy Trinity Church, North Malvern, throughout Holy Week. The church will be open daily for private prayer and contemplation. Monday 30th March - Saturday 4th April 9.30am-4.30pm.

OPEN ECO MEETING AT HOLY TRINITY

Everyone is invited to an open meeting on Thursday 26th March 7.30pm, in Holy Trinity Lower Parish Hall, Worcester Road, WR14 1NU. Guest Speaker: Emma Stuart from Worcestershire County Council. She will talk about waste management, waste prevention and how to be a smarter recycler. Followed by refreshments.
