CELEBRATE OUR WONDERFUL DIVERSITY!

Everyone is invited to an intercultural gathering on Sunday 31 May. Our Parish is blessed to have people from so many different backgrounds: Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Please join us at the 11.00am Mass and afterwards enjoy the food and culture that characterises our diverse Parish community. You are invited to contribute a dish to our shared meal. You may also wish to participate with a song, dance or a story which is unique to your cultural background.

Please look out for the sign-up sheet for the event in the Narthex of St Joseph's Church.

THE BLUEBELL GROUP

A new drop-in group to support people in and around the parish who have been bereaved at any point in their lives. Come and receive a warm welcome, a listening ear, a cuppa and some cake! Held in the McEnnis room at St Joseph’s on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10:30am - 1pm starting Saturday 25th April.

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 10TH – 16TH MAY

Calling all Christian Aid Envelope Deliverers. I know for some of you it feels a bit pointless if you do not get any returns but last year, we raised £565 with this envelope collection. That can make a lot of difference.

Once again, we are having a DELIVERY ONLY COLLECTION.

The envelopes will have your address on, so people can either donate online or return it to you. All you have to do is post them through your neighbour’s doors at the beginning of the week, then bring any returns to the church and return to me or the office. Please sign the sheet on the table if you can help this year. Thank you, Win Crawford.

SCREWFIX FOUNDATION 10KM TREK

A big thank you to everyone who donated to my trek, together we raised over £500 for the Screwfix Foundation, which will help many local charities and non-profits. I had a great deal of fun doing this trek, and mostly good weather. I can now reveal that the costume I had to wear when doing the walk, as suggested by the tradies of Ledbury, was a Dinosaur costume. I met many of our 4-legged friends on the walk, and I can say that it was probably their first time meeting a dinosaur. Thank you again, Matthew Kirby
