CRIB DONATIONS

Feeding Hungry Children through The Wychumvi Charity. The Charity started when the British Council twinned the Wyche school with Gofu Juu in Tanga, Tanzania back in 2007. The Wychumvi Charity was started to fund a small meal for each child. This has been found to benefit the children physically in terms of nutrition and health but has also had a knock-on effect in terms of attendance and therefore in overall levels of attainment. Wychumvi currently provides over 600 meals a day for the children at Gofu Juu. The charity also established a programme where individuals in the UK could sponsor a child through Secondary School and where required onto High School and through university. The charity has sponsored over 90 children in this way in the past ten years. Doug Craig has had a lasting connection through the cultural exchange.

MALVERN CLUSTER ADVENT REFLECTIONS

The Malvern Cluster of parishes warmly invites you to four reflections this Advent each Tuesday of Advent. We shall be gathering from 6.45pm for light refreshments with a talk of 15 minutes at 7.30pm followed by a further 15 minutes of discussion/sharing and concluding with 15 minutes of prayer to conclude at 8.15pm as follows.

  • 16th December: BLACKMORE: Joy – Gaudete, Rejoicing and Witness: Charity and service.

  • 23rd December: ST JOSEPH’S MALVERN: love, Mary: The Faith and Incarnation: Imitation of Mary

ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR CHRISTMAS DAY

Could you offer an extra place or two at your table for Christmas? We're encouraging parishioners to open their homes and share the joy of Christmas lunch with a fellow parishioner this year. This will replace the previously successful Christmas lunches in the McEnnis Room. We would love you to be a part of this beautiful act of hospitality. If you are interested in being involved, please add your name to the sign-up sheet which is in the Narthex and someone will contact you.

ST CHAD’S CAROL CONCERT

Sunday 21st December, 5pm, with the cathedral choir. All welcome. No tickets required.
