PICTURES AND TALK: SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST SOON AFTER THE 11 AM MASS:
A presentation of the experiences of their recent visit to Malawi will be done by Ann and Derek Carver soon after the 11am Mass during the Coffee/Tea and Cake in the McEnnis Room. Ann and Dave have embarked on supporting some projects and donations will be welcome.

FIRST HOLY SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMES FOR 2026
The first session for the FIRST CONFESSION AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION programme will kick off on be on Tuesday 23rd September at 5pm.
The sessions for the RCIA JOURNEY IN FAITH will begin in September running on Tuesday evenings. Everyone is welcome, especially if you are not a Catholic and would like to find out more of the Catholic faith.
The programme for THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION will start as schools come back in September. Confirmation itself will be on the 18th of January 2026 at 11.00am Sunday Mass.
Application forms for all these Sacramental programmes are in the Narthex.
PAC MEETING
The next meeting for the PAC will be Monday 15th September AT 7pm. If you have items for the agenda or wish to make the PAC aware of anything, please let Fr Naz, Edd Hogan, or the office know.
HOUSE GROUPS
We are excited to announce the formation of three weekly House Groups within the parish, starting in September. If you would like to sign up as a member, please contact the relevant host below.

MASS ON THE HILL PRAYING FOR THE CARE OF CREATION
Our annual open-air Mass on the Malvern Hills will take place at 1pm on Sunday 14th September. This Mass falls within the Season of Creation which begins on 1st September and ends on 4th October, the Feast Day of St Francis. The theme for this year is ‘Peace with Creation’. The preacher will be the Reverend Rebecca Elliot from the neighbouring Church of England – ‘Holy Trinity Church’ at the top of Newtown Road. Invitations have been extended to the Malvern Cluster churches of Blackmore, Upton and St Wulstan’s as well as to Churches Together in Malvern. As usual please bring a meal to share. The location will be c.300m up the main path from Blackmore car park. The location for Mass will be the same as previous years: WTW winner.arise.pickle
ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO HARVINGTON: 7 September 2025
Confessions: 1.45pm – 2.30pm, Mass: 3pm. This year the principal celebrant will be The Most Reverend Bernard Longley, Archbishop of Birmingham. After Mass refreshments will be served to all pilgrims in the garden of The Priest’s House. Free timed tours of Harvington Hall are available to pilgrims on the day and can be booked at the table in the Hall’s courtyard when you arrive. Please note that pilgrims MUST BRING THEIR OWN CHAIRS as we are unable to provide them from here.
DEANERY PASTORIAL FORUM
will meet in Worcester on 2nd September. This will be the second meeting of this new group. Our parish is represented by Mary Taylor and Edd Hogan.
DEANERY PILGRIMAGE TO EVESHAM
SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER AT 12NOON. All parishes are encouraged to attend this pilgrimage. Let us consider organizing ourselves to do a car share to get to the event.
ANNUAL MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE GUILD OF ST STEPHEN
To be celebrated by Bishop David Evans, Saturday 4th October at 12.00 noon at St. Chad’s Cathedral. Altar Servers and their families please join in this celebration. Light refreshments will be available in the Grimshaw Room. All servers are asked to wear their cassocks and cottas, or albs.
FOREIGN CURRENCY
Coins & Notes – please donate any leftover foreign currency for Mary’s Meals to support their work in feeding the hungry in many parts of the world.
