For the Sick and Housebound of St Joseph’s Parish: Clare Gray, Anne Wiseman, Anne-Marie Elder, Roslyn La Ferla and John Eckersley. We include all those in hospitals, nursing homes & their own homes. Our Lady, health of the sick, pray for them. Amen.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Tuesday 2nd June 5.00pm – 6.30pm Family Meeting – Jesus walks with us.
Saturday 6th June 10.30am – 12.00 noon rehearsal for First Holy Communion Mass.
Sunday 7th June – at the 11am Mass: Celebration of First Holy Communion. We will have a short "Corpus Christi" procession after Mass and will need flower petals to scatter on the ground before the Blessed Sacrament. Please keep petals and bring to church the week before. A box will be placed in the Narthex for them from the weekend of the 23rd of May.
BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION AND COMMUNION FOR JATINDER MADHARA
will take place this Pentecost Sunday 24th May at the 11am Mass. Jatinder has completed an RCIA Journey in Faith. Please keep him in your prayers.
SUMMER FETE AT UPTON
Monday 25 May from 2-4pm Toys; Plants; Handmade Cards; Teas – and oodles of folk to Bake, Sell & Consume, Cakes! Let us please go there to support the event.
NOVENA IN PREPARATION THE FORTHCOMING DAY FOR LIFE
will run from Saturday 23 May to the Feast of the Visitation (Sunday 31 May). This is the third year in which the Dioceses of England and Wales will join with those of Scotland and Ireland to pray this Novena. It will be available on the Bishops’ Conference website, as well as at https://prayforlife.ie/
CELEBRATE OUR WONDERFUL DIVERSITY!
Everyone is invited to an intercultural gathering on Sunday 31 May. Our Parish is blessed to have people from so many different backgrounds: Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Please join us at the 11.00am Mass and afterwards enjoy the food and culture that characterises our diverse Parish community. You are invited to contribute a dish to our shared meal. You may also wish to participate with a song, dance or a story which is unique to your cultural background.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING 2026
Takes place at 4pm, Sunday 14th June. All parishioners are invited to come and listen to the annual review of our parish with contributions from Fr Naz, the Finance Committee, and the PAC.
It is an opportunity to scrutinise the accounts and work of the PAC and ask questions. The agenda and supporting documents will be shared on the parish website. A small number of printed copies will be available at the APM.
RAISING FUNDS FOR THE YOUTH GROUP
Saturday 27th June It's a knockout £20 includes bbq. At Alton. Lots of fun activities and games finishes with bbq and Mass. Open to school years 5 to 12.

BISHOP TIMOTHY MENESES IS COMING TO THE MALVERNS ON SATURDAY 20TH JUNE
He is walking the 10 km ridge walk of the Malvern Hills raising money for the Andrew Robinson Young Peoples Trust and celebrating Mass there. Andrew Robinson was a fourth year Seminarian at Oscott College, he is the author of 'Tears at Night, Joy at Dawn'. He developed terminal bowel cancer and sadly passed away in 2001. His family setup a trust in his name working with disadvantage children. His sister Maria Bracken will be speaking at the Sunday parish Mass on May 24th to tell you more about the opportunity to join Mass on the Malvern’s.

CATECHIST FORMATION SESSION:
"How Jesus Catechised"
Saturday, 6th June 2026 Time: 9:30 am – 12:15 pm at St George’s Parish Centre, Catechists including Children’s Liturgy Teams, Sacramental Preparation Teams from the Kidderminster and Worcester Deanery are invited to join us for a morning of reflection and discussion on how Jesus taught and catechised. A PARISH MISSION FOR THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR PARISH
As part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary, the Redemptorists will preach a Mission in our parish from Saturday, 27th June till Friday, 3rd July 2026. Keep this week in focus. On the Intercultural Mass Day (Sunday, 31st May) one of the Redemptorist priests will be speaking to promote the Parish Mission.
MESSY VINTAGE SUMMERTIME PRAISE
At Holy Trinity Church, Malvern - Tuesday 2nd June (Please note change of day and date owing to the Bishops Visit) A fun informal service to celebrate Springtime, especially for older people - All are welcome. People living with dementia or additional needs, and their Carers, are especially welcome.
