THE MONTH OF MAY, THE MONTH OF MARY

The month of May is dedicated to Our Blessed Mary. During this month Christians, both in church and in the privacy of the home, offer up to Mary from their hearts an especially fervent and loving homage of prayer and veneration. Families are welcome to host the statue of the Blessed Mary from Sunday after Mass to Saturday before the 6pm Mass to give a chance to say the Rosary as a family for one week and as well as to invite friends to join you in the week. Please fill a form in the Narthex. At the start of each Mass, we shall recite the ‘Regina Caeli’ .

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 11TH – 17TH MAY 2025

Could I ask those people who have so generously delivered envelopes in the past for Christian Aid, to sign up once again on the list in the narthex. I am also looking for NEW volunteers. This is just delivering 20-30 envelopes in your road. Once again you will not be asked to return to collect the envelopes. Your address will be printed on the envelope and people will be asked to put it through your door. Then, at the end of the week, you bring them back to me. (Thank you Win Crawford)

This year, the Malvern Christian Aid Ecumenical Service is taking place at St Joseph's at 4.00pm on May 11th. St Joseph's Second Collection for Christian Aid will take place on weekend 17th-18th May. As well as the usual envelopes and card reader, people will also be able to donate via a dedicated webpage. This information will be on our website.
