For disarmament and peace. Let us pray that nations move toward effective
disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of
violence.

For the Sick and Housebound of St Joseph’s Parish: Clare Gray, Anne Wiseman, Anne-Marie Elder, Roslyn La Ferla and John Eckersley. We include all those in hospitals, nursing homes & their own homes. Our Lady, health of the sick, pray for them. Amen.
For those on the anniversary of their death: Bill Wortley, Alec Eastwood and Frances Keenan and Oliver Jones.

PARISH LENTEN SOUP CAFÉ
Will be running on Monday’s during Lent starting on the 9th March and continuing on the 16th and the 23rd March at noon after Mass at 11.30am on these Monday’s. Do come along and meet others for these very sociable lunches with a choice of soups and bread followed by tea and coffee. There is no set charge for the lunch, but donations are welcome and will go towards supporting the Church and the One World Group Projects.
CLUSTER LENTEN REFLECTIONS
In our Lenten Meditations this year we shall be reflecting on the Beatitudes in five meetings at different churches in our Cluster.
Next Clusters are –
Tuesday 10th March at St Wulstan’s Little Malvern (Bernadette) - ‘Blessed are those who mourn and thirst for justice and are persecuted for my sake’
17th March at Blackmore Park (Chris Louise) - ‘Blessed are the pure of heart and the peacemakers’
Tuesday 24th March at St Joseph’s Malvern (Christian Dowle) - ‘Blessed are the merciful’
Each meeting will start with gathering and refreshments at 6.30pm before proceeding to an introductory talk (7.15pm), followed by reflection and prayer. The meeting will finish at 8pm.

A PARISH MISSION FOR THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF OUR PARISH
As part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary, the Redemptorists will preach a Mission in our parish from Saturday, 27th June till Friday, 3rd July 2026. Keep this week in focus.

THANK YOU FROM THE ONE WORLD
We’ve received some additional donations for Mary’s Meals following our film evening and discussion a couple of weeks ago. The total raised is now £243.75 (including Gift Aid), which will help provide school meals for 12 children for a whole academic year (it costs around £19.15 per child). Thank you again to those who came along and for all the generous donations.

Saturday 7th March Free Youth Event for Year 6 upwards. Grow in Hope Event - At Oscott College. 1000 to 1600 Includes workshops, talks and Mass.
Saturday 27th June It's a knockout £20 includes bbq. At Alton. Lots of fun activities and games finishes with bbq and Mass. Open to school years 5 to 12.

LIFEPATH MALVERN 22ND - 26TH JUNE 2026
A reminder that more Volunteers are needed for Lifepath. Already 603 children are booked in. 63 Volunteers are signed up but 90/100 are needed. If you feel able to help, see various roles on the Application Form, (in the narthex here at St. Joseph’s) which can be completed and returned to Lifepath Admin, Priory Parish Office. Church House, Church Street, Malvern. Lifepath represents the unity of Christians from various denominations and areas working together, a testament of their faith.
