Archbishop's Easter Message

Archbishop Bernard has sent a letter to all Parishes in the archdiocese, discussing LIve Masses from St Chad's, Virtual Walks of Witness, Stations of the Cross and more. Click below for details.

Daily Reflections

As we can't attend St Joseph's currently, Fr Naz's Holy Week reflections will be posted each day with his Homilies at the link below. Click on "Last Modified" once or twice to bring the documents into date order, and each day's reflections should be at the top.

Mass Accessibility - Update 4/4/20

Hi all - a short update on Mass accessibility in these trying times. I've been speaking with Fr Naz and the installer of the new Parish CCTV system, and we will be trying to stream Masses from St Joseph's in the near future. However, as this is part of this wider work (CCTV to secure the church and Fr Naz), it is likely to take a little longer than I initially hoped. I'll keep you posted, but it doesn't look like we will have anything in until after Easter, apologies for that.

In the meantime, the Palm Sunday Mass with Archbishop Bernard Longley will be streamed live from the Cathedral website at 11am tomorrow (5/4/20) - see below for the link, the stream is about half-way down that webpage. Also, at 8am Easter Sunday 12/4/20, Cardinal Vincent Nichols will be celebrating Mass which will be broadcast on all BBC Local Radio stations.

Thanks, Al

Letter from Fr Naz 28/3/20

As described in Fr Naz's recent letter, he now has a Seminarian staying with him - Jithin Titto.

Jithin has written an article about himself, see below for details.

Divine Mercy Rosary at home - Daily 3pm

There is a Divine Mercy Rosary CD and booklet available from the Narthex, but due to the current situation Parishioners are unlikely to be able to access these. As a result, they are available online in the link below.

From your homes, play the CD every day at 3pm and join the whole world in praying for the end of the Coronavirus.
